It's a thrilling tale about how Amar'e and Felton are being worn down from playing too many minutes.

  1. I think Donnie Walsh has plans A,B,C etc., but plan A is Carmelo so he is waiting on that move before he does anything else.

I trust in Donnie though. All summer long haters were saying how if the Knicks missed on LeBron we would end up maxing out Joe Johnson and Boozer and be a mediocre playoff team for years to come. Instead Donnie got Amar'e, signed Felton cheap and kept great financial flexibility moving forward so that we can be players in big name free agents down the road.

  2. Totally agree... Marc Gasol would be a great free agent addition but the Grizzlies have openly said he is their #1 priority this off season. If a Carmelo trade doesn't happen (I don't think it will), Donnie should swing a trade with Anthony Randolph for a big man like Joel Przybilla. Unfortunately I think if Carmelo doesn't land in NY it could spell the end of Walsh's career here. Dolan is an idiot and is craving the big name, if he doesn't land here in the next 10 days we may be saying "Hello" to our good friend Zeke! :(

  3. Dolan is an idiot, I hope David Stern doesn't let him get rid of Walsh, he pretty much forced him to hire Walsh in the first place because he was doing such a terrible job of hiring competent people.

  4. I think that Dolan has to trust Walsh. Unfortunately I know that Dolan is extremely inept. When we were at a certain hockey game sitting in a certain owners box (playing against the Rangers) Matt asked about James Dolan. I don't remember the owner's exact response but it was basically that he is an idiot who doesn't know how to run a sports franchise.

I just hope he isn't so dumb that he doesn't realize how much better the Knicks are this year, how much more hype there is, how much more excitement.

I know Melo is a big name but fans want a true team, not just a couple of big names. We are smart fans with a dumb owner.
